The second chapter of the Matrix trilogy comes to DVD this fall as a very special edition of The Matrix Reloaded from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment.

Zion faces its darkest hour as the machines begin a final assault to end the war. 250, 000 Sentinals dig into the heart of the city. Neo, Trinity and Morpheus must kind the elusive Keymaker to take Neo to the source of the Matrix, which according to prophesy will end the war.

Fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen versions of the film will be available with audio in Dolby Surround 2.0 and Dolby Digital 5.1. Several featurettes are included; Preload – behind-the-scenes with the cast and crew, The Freeway Chase – a look at the making of the complex stunt sequence, Enter the Matrix – behind-the-scenes on the new videogame, What is the Amimatrix? – a promo for the animated companion DVD, The Matrix Unfolds – a look at the film “phenomenon” and Get Me an Exit – a look at design advertising inspired by the film. Also included will by the MTV Movie Awards spoof. DVD-ROM content will also be available.

Arriving on October 14th, just in time for The Matrix Revolutions, the DVD will have a suggested retail price of $29.95.
